| June 6 and 7, 10am-4pm FLORAL PAINTING WORKSHOP Join us for a 2 day floral painting workshop led by Mary Mugele Sealfon. Workshop will be Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 from 10am - 4pm at the Senior Room of Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick. Fee for the workshop is $45 per day for members ($55 non members); $75 for both days for members, ($95 non members). The workshop will culminate with a show of works at La Montiel gallery in Warwick in July. If you bring flowers from your garden you will receive a $5 discount (store bought flowers don’t count)--and you may bring a special vase or conatainer that you like. Mary is planning on a profussion of flowers and arrangements. Students can do many studies or work on one large detailed painting. Work in medium of your choice. It is recommended that each participant bring an easel and their medium of choice. Mary will do a demo at the beginning of each session. An emphisis will be placed on learning to see changes in light and color with personal attention and instruction while you paint. Individual expression is encouraged. Pre-registration suggested. Instruction will begin with tips on drawing the features in correct proportion. Flesh tone color mixing and values will be demonstrated.
